Service & Maintenance

Service- & Maintenance packages

Our process solutions are developed for the individual needs of our customers. They are designed for the specific processes, products and working environments and are often only realized once in a single configuration.

For this reason, we tailor our service and maintenance packages just as individual as our machines. Because service and maintenance not only have to contribute towards the functionality and the value preservation of the machine, they must also be geared to the processes, products and working environments of the customer.

Spare parts

We keep spare parts in stock for almost all of our modules as well as for all machines. In most cases we manufacture the spare parts internally in our own mechanical engineering department.

The supply of spare parts can be an integrated component of your service- and maintenance package, so that in an emergency you can quickly and reliably continue producing.

In every unit delivered by Eutect, not only labour time but also material values have been invested, which can be used for new projects. This can be, for example, the production cell, kinematic solutions but also soldering modules such as soldering nozzles, wire feeders or thermodes. If these parts are still operating, they can also be reused and can be integrated into other machine concepts if the sustainability and cradle-to-cradle idea is applied. This approach is based on a continuous and consistent recycling management. After a general overhaul, the cell can be rewired, equipped with new modules and an updated control cabinet that is adapted to the new processes and thus made fit for new tasks. The wiring harnesses can no longer be used, but the previously integrated soldering modules, robots or other kinematic systems can be used in other projects after a test and overhaul. Some of the newly assembled machines are also returned to the production cycle as rental machines. In addition to entire machines, we also overhaul individual modules. These are also tested thoroughly. After the revision, the exchange of wear parts and an extensive function test, the modules are used for new projects or are first put into stock in order to be able to react quicker to inquiries.

Retrofit solution

In order to increase the machine uptime for existing machines in the market, Eutect GmbH offers its customers a comprehensive retrofit option, which increases uptime of Eutect machines by up to 10% and makes it possible to achieve operational readiness twice as fast after service and maintenance is performed.

“Our retrofit offer includes an update of our SoFa software family, our control software for the IW1 mini wave modules, and the installation of SaM, our new service and maintenance timer,” explains Matthias Fehrenbach, Managing Director of Eutect GmbH. When installing the updates, a complete data backup will be performed. Based on this data backup, a test system is set up at Eutect, within which all updates and adjustments are carried out. Only after extensive tests are completed, the new versions are transferred to the customer systems.

The software update includes the Techmode to automatically approach and change process positions in a graphical user interface. This allows new products to be set up more quickly, which helps to speed up the entire production process. The control update for the IW1 mini wave module focuses on the pump software. It has been revised, with a clearly laid-out input interface and new parameters for fast nozzle readiness. In addition, we offer the new maintenance timer SaM, which makes it possible to monitor necessary maintenance and service tasks. For this purpose, SaM also sends reminders to the responsible persons and reports potential service assignments ahead of time.

Employees come and go, machines and production processes are moved to different locations, or you want to refresh your internal knowledge, regardless of the reason, we train you and your employees worldwide in the efficient use and maintenance of your EUTECT system and modules.

Process training courses, consulting & automation consulting

We offer our customers individual process training courses, that include both general topics all around soldering as well as being tailored directly to your individual requirements. The training courses can be conducted both in the EUTECT Technology or at your site and usually last one day.

Besides the training courses we also offer process consulting, in order to make your existing soldering processes even more efficient. Thereby the soldering process is analyzed precisely according to the specification of your objectives. Based on the analysis, measures to achieve the objectives are formulated and presented. The process consulting thereby relates not only to EUTECT systems. We are also happy to support inquiries about soldering processes, in which third-party systems are used.

Since soldering processes are often embedded in a process chain or inline production, we also incorporate automation consulting. Here, the objective is to efficiently integrate the soldering process into the manufacturing process in combination with all other relevant production processes with regard to automation technology. The many years of experience of our experts in custom mechanical engineering and electronics production thereby help to propose and implement the right steps.

Pilot series-, C-sample- & small-batch production

Besides the evaluation of your soldering process, in the EUTECT Technology Center we also offer our customers the production of pre-series or small-batch products. Often it is decided after the very first installation, whether modifications to the product and consequently also to the soldering process must be implemented. These modifications naturally then have an influence on the final soldering process. In other cases the production volumes are too small for an EUTECT system, or the product is too complex to be soldered in a standard machine. Our customers can then also utilize our EUTECT Technology Center. The same applies for the processing of production peaks.

QR-Code

Every module and every machine leaves our premises with its own QR-code. Concealed behind this code is the machine operation manual. Although this is sent with the system, but is often lost in the daily business. Due to the high degree of individualization of our machines, the operating manuals are also greatly individualized, every system has its own document. By scanning the QR-code, operators, service staff and supervisors have access to the latest version of the operation manual at all times.

The QR code is an option which is chargeable.
