High-precision robotic solutions for selective soldering

The 6-axis robots we use, which are integrated into the process cells, are ideal for the flexible movement of assemblies and workpiece carriers, thereby achieving a high level of space and material efficiency.

Benefit

This is particularly advantageous when different processes need to be controlled one after the other in a cycle time-optimised manner. A robot also offers a high degree of flexibility in terms of the usability of the automation for other assemblies or products.

Performance

One of EUTECT's specialities is the integration of complex robot solutions. But the little brothers, the cobots, have also found their way into the EUTECT production cells. The integration of a robot makes it possible to utilise a wide variety of processes in a production cell. In some cases, up to five processes can be controlled with an overhead robot, depending on the size of the cell. By integrating soldering masks into the robot gripper, assemblies can be fixed during gripping and soldered overhead, e.g. using a mini wave. In the following video we present our capabilities in this area in detail.
