Control is everything, even when fluxing.
The devil is often in the detail when it comes to the precise Fluxing goes. If you set the flux application that applies the flux to the PCB, you can control the result quite precisely, even if the flux is applied very quickly. New smartphones are able to record videos at 60fps (frames per second) in combination with a torch. If a torch is shone on the beam, it can be recognised quite clearly and you can also see where it hits.
In order not to contaminate the assembly, thermal paper or sandwich paper can also be held in between. This paper clearly shows the direction of the flux jet. A small pane of glass can also be used.
The positions can then be optimised and the dispenser's performance parameters adjusted. This is done via the machine software. The ratio of speed, time and performance of the dispenser is important here. The easiest way to control the flux is the automatic module for flux jet control, which can also be retrofitted to the Eutect systems under certain circumstances.
