Special precision gripper for soldering automation

The grippers we develop are specially customised to customer and product requirements. The gripper systems not only transport an assembly, but some are also equipped with specific functionalities that enable a reproducible soldering process.

Benefit

Our grippers do not come off the shelf. Instead, they are specially developed and constructed for each selective soldering application. Whether individual assemblies or assemblies with masking, our gripper systems transport them reliably and precisely to the process stations of the production cell. This enables us to guarantee cycle time-optimised and reproducible selective soldering results.

Performance

The grippers are part of integrated robots or are used on axis systems. The assemblies are transported using workpiece carriers, masks or frames, which the gripper in turn transports to the process modules used. A titanium mask can also be integrated, enabling overhead soldering, e.g. with the EUTECT mini wave.

Modularity

The gripping systems are generally used in combination with 6-axis robots or on axis systems. As the gripping systems are customised to the technical requirements, the design and functionality are completely independent. This means that it does not matter which soldering and peripheral processes are used.
