Brush solutions for the removal of surface dirt after selective soldering

The centrepiece of the brush module is a round brush that is driven by a DC motor at a fixed speed. The speed is adjusted to the PCB and the contours.

Benefit

The brush module improves PCB cleaning by efficiently removing impurities. A durable design and integrated wear and height monitoring ensure maximum availability.

Performance

The brush itself is a wear part that is fastened by means of a thread. This ensures long-lasting, stable brush rotation. A height monitoring system monitors the position of the brush, which is defined in relation to the PCB, as well as brush wear.
The impurities are reliably removed from the circuit board by the brush and vacuumed away at the same time. A collection container collects the dirt particles. To prevent electrostatic charging of the brush, the module is equipped with an ionising unit with an end charging head. The ionising air flow is directed onto the brush. Depending on customer requirements, the rotary brush, the rotation speed and the rotational speed can be adjusted, allowing the entire brush module to be customised to the PCB contours.
