Innovative, selective soldering processes for complex assembly production
Mini wave soldering
EUTECT’s mini-wave soldering enables high-precision and reproducible solder joints, even on complex assemblies. By using single-sided, non-wettable solder nozzles, EUTECT is able to solder complex assemblies with hard-to-reach solder joints in a targeted and process-reliable manner. In connection with custom-developed titanium soldering masks adjacent components are reliably protected against thermal stress and unwanted solder contact. Users benefit from short cycle times, high flexibility and low process costs, whilst ensuring maximum process reliability.
Laser soldering
EUTECT’s laser soldering enables contactless, high-precision energy transfer for demanding soldering processes. In combination with the patented sensitive wire feeder (SWF) the wire feed and solder quantity are continuously monitored and controlled. Thanks to the SWF’s force and position control, exactly the same amount of solder is always applied to the joint, thereby minimising process variations and ensuring a consistently high standard of soldering quality. Users benefit from maximum process reliability, reproducible results, full traceability and cost-effective production, even with sensitive components and complex assemblies.
Automated soldering solution using robots
Thanks to its unique, consistent control technology, EUTECT is able to automate even complex soldering processes, such as laser soldering, using a robot. In addition to the soldering process itself, dedicated software has been developed for this purpose, enabling even users without specialist knowledge of robotics to implement the process. Thanks to EMI Move Mode, these steps in the process setup can be carried out in a highly intuitive and reliable manner. Users benefit from a high degree of flexibility when switching between products, reliable processing of complex assemblies, and cost-effective, scalable production.
