Both robots and cobots can be used to load and unload the production cell.

The assemblies can be removed from workpiece carriers or other transport units, or they can be fed to the selective soldering process from trays. This results in versatile, fully automatic loading and unloading options, so that optimised cycle times can be implemented on the smallest possible space.

Roller conveyor
The roller conveyor can be used to transport workpiece carriers (WC) loaded with assemblies into the process cell.
This can be done in a cycle-time-optimised manner, as one worker loads the WC, the second worker inserts the WC, operates the machine and removes the WC again.
But X-Y-Z axis handling systems can also remove assemblies from the WCs in order to transport them to the respective process modules. The roller conveyor systems are designed for the specific widths and weights of the workpiece carriers.

Manual rotation input
The manual rotation input is a manual loading and unloading module.
The module is loaded with assemblies outside the machine by an employee, which are then transported into the machine by the rotation and fed to the respective processes there. At the same time as the assembly to be processed is “turned” into the machine, a finished assembly is transported out of the machine and removed by the employee from the manual rotation input.
